How BAY is financed

B.A.Y. is 100% supported by donations from churches, businesses and individuals who believe in what we are doing. For the past five plus years 95% of our programming dollars have come from churches and individuals. We have big dreams in ways that we can help our community's young people and improve their quality of life. Please consider investing in this community-wide youth ministry collaborative. All donations are tax deductible.

Our Five – foci strategy

1. Concerted Prayer for each other, our churches, & our community.

2. Connecting as a Network of Youth Workers (Personal fellowship & support)

3. Corporate Events (ie: Concerts, Rallies & seminars)

4. Campus Ministries (Central Lakes College Student Outreach, *Bible Clubs & Release time)

5. Community Liaison (Radio; "Flock Radio", "Flock TV", schools, police & civic organizations)

Director– Dale Kuglin

Dale and wife, Diane, moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area in 1986 to work as a Youth Pastor at a local church. During the 12 ½ years of ministering to the youth and their parents, Dale and two other local youth workers formed what later was named Brainerd Area Youth Ministries (B.A.Y.). In 1998 these youth leaders asked Dale to become their full time executive director. Today B.A.Y. is focused on reaching out to area Youth Pastors, volunteer Youth Leaders and the teens they represent. B.A.Y. is also heavily involved with the Brainerd School District and Central Lakes College. Concerts, Rallies and a weekly radio program “Flock Radio” and TV show “FlockTV” round out a busy schedule.

Interns and volunteers

B.A.Y.'s success happens because of the many individuals who willing give of their time, talents and expertise. 

Area of needed volunteers involve; computers, clerical work, video and TV productions and people with big ideas.
